The "Backpacks of Love" collection is underway at Mini-West Storage!
Area churches are cooperating to provide school supplies for Navarro County children in the upcoming school year. Bring school supplies to our office at 1400 North 45th Street, and place in our collection box. The supplies will be stored at Mini-West until the assembly date. Students who qualify for Free/Reduced Lunch are eligible to receive a backpack filled with required supplies for each grade level. Valentine's Day wishes for a wounded warrior at Walter Reed Army Medical Center
MINI-WEST again collected Valentines for Vets at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Maryland. U-HAUL and the United War Veterans Council hand delivered cards to veterans recovering from injuries there. Cards were either purchased or handmade, and either loose or in an unsealed envelope for screening before delivery for safety.

In 2010, valentines were donated by Westminster Presbyterian Church and LOGOS kids, Lifeline Church children and special needs adults, Cub Scout Troop 253, and Country Meadows Nursing Homes. In 2011, Bob and Gretchen, Mini-West, and the students at James L. Collins Catholic School in Corsicana donated 200 valentines toward the goal of 5,000. Thank you!
